Tell us a little about yourself:  My name is Sara, I grew up in Norway on a small island called Nøtterøy. When I was 18 I moved to Australia! Spent about 2 years there living the dream and met my husband when traveling to Hawaii, which is where I’m currently based. 

You run an online vintage shop with your husband - can you tell us a little more about that? : I do! I started In awe because it’s been a passion of mine since I was very young to run my own label and work within fashion. In awe currently consists of one of a kind, genuine vintage pieces, hand picked by me and the husband (yes, my husband knows how to source the goods!). I’m also working on getting my own designs into a house collection, where I work purely with plant based fabrics. I studied fashion business and have always wanted to bring light into the industry. I love being able to grow it and be creative with something so dear to me, and bring justice to people via each sales, as we work to end human trafficking in the Hawaiian Islands. Since Valentines day is coming up, what do you think the secret is to keeping romance alive in a relationship? : My husband & I became best friends in one day and I would say unless you can joke around and not take life too seriously with your person, it’s hard to keep things going. We share a lot of the same values and wishes in life and even though we’re married, we go on dates, surprise each other with little things etc. I recently went on a trip to New York with a girlfriend and found a bunch of little love notes my husband had put in all my luggage. Throughout the trip I found notes in my wallet, hidden in my shoe, my jacket, make-up bag etc. It was the cutest thing!
